Why The "Space City" Design Was Actually Created

I was born in Houston in 2005 and have called it home ever since. The city has always meant a lot to me, so when I started designing headcovers, it only felt right to create something inspired by the place I grew up.

The Space City Cover is a tribute to Houston and its iconic “Space City” nickname, which comes from the city’s deep connection to NASA and the Johnson Space Center.

And with my last name being Johnson, I like to think there’s a little bit of family heritage in there too.

This design is my way of representing home and turning a piece of Houston’s identity into something you can carry with you on the course.
