Why I actually started JJ Collection.

Why I actually started JJ Collection.

JJ Collection started with a simple idea: golf accessories didn’t have to be boring.

After working at Piretti Golf for a little over a year, I had the opportunity to be around the creative side of the golf industry every day. During that time, I became more involved in design and started developing my own style and understanding of what makes a product stand out.

The more I looked at the headcover market, the more I felt like there was an opportunity to do something different. There were plenty of great products out there, but so many headcovers felt safe, traditional, or simply like another place to put a logo.

I wanted a completely blank slate.

That became JJ Collection. A brand built around creating golf products that are bold, unique, and backed by a story.

Instead of starting with what a golf headcover is supposed to look like, we start with an idea. It could come from a city, a memory, a culture, a moment, or something completely unexpected. Then we figure out how to turn that story into something you can put in your golf bag.

That approach is what led to collections like Space City, inspired by growing up in Houston and the identity the city has built around space exploration. The goal wasn’t just to make a cool looking headcover. It was to create something with a reason behind every detail.

And headcovers are only the beginning.

We’re getting ready to bring that same mindset into JJ Collection wedges. Just like our headcovers, we didn’t want to create another product that looked like everything else already on the market. Our wedges are being designed to stand out, with unique details and a personality of their own while still being built to perform.

As JJ Collection grows, the goal is to take the same approach into everything we create: if we’re going to make something, there should be a reason for it to exist.

That’s what I want JJ Collection to be known for.

Not just golf products you use.. Golf products that are actually worth talking about.

Every collection starts with a story. Every design is an opportunity to do something that hasn’t been done before.

And we’re just getting started.
